• FXPools

  

  The figure above denotes the custom bonding curve that Xave uses for each liquidity pool in FX AMM. When an FX swap is executed the corresponding proportion of tokens that remain within the liquidity pool after the swap is reflected on the black line (above)

  FX swaps can occur in two zones on the linkage curve. In the "beta" zone, currencies are exchanged at the expected rate with fixed fees and no slippage. However, outside this zone, trades depend on the LP ratio, and swap fees vary. Moving token rates out of the beta zone incurs a higher fee, while moving rates back into it has a lower fee.

  Mechanism

  

  When the liquidity composition crosses beyond the beta region price slippage will occur. As seen from the diagram above, once the composition of tokens in a pool crosses point J the graph curves horizontally.

  In this region, the pool is skewed towards Token B, causing the price of Token A to decrease (points J to K). Conversely, when liquidity favors Token A (HI), the graph curves, creating an arbitrage opportunity as Token A`s price generally increases (points I to H). To prevent complete pool drainage, Xave`s FXPools impose minimum and maximum allocation parameters, limiting trades beyond points H and K.

  Xave Strategies

  Xave Strategies are stablecoin farming strategies which aim to give users ~20-30% (or higher) base APR yields.

  This stablecoin farming strategy routes liquidity through three components: the FX AMM, the Lending Market and Thetanut’s Stronghold options trading index product.

  Strategy # 2: USDC Lending

  

  This low risk strategy involves lending USDC to Xave`s Lending Market.
